The Apatani paddy-cum-fish system is one of the valley’s most distinctive traditions: rice and fish are raised together in the same flooded fields.
Through this project the foundation works to revive the practice on restored fields and to promote it among farming families, so that the system continues to be practised — and understood — by the next generation.
